Cutlery print place mat
These place mats are printed using an actual vintage knife, fork and spoon!
The fabric is an undyed hemp/cotton blend. Hemp is one of the most sustainable fabrics on the market, it is biodegradable, compostable and recyclable, as well as being antibacterial and hypoallergenic. It has a really lovely texture and is very durable.
To give the mats stability and provide some heat protection, they have a layer of interfacing on the inside.
The nature of hand printing means no two prints will ever be quite the same and the resulting imperfections are what gives each product its own unique character. These items are probably not for you if you prefer a precise digital print!
